Edition 2025 — CMC Köln
The premiere of CMC Köln took place on August 30, 2025, at the Stadthalle Köln-Mülheim. BD-Events brought the comic and manga convention, established in Düsseldorf, Oberhausen, Hamburg, and Münster, to Cologne for the first time. Program: Artist Alley, merchandise stands, Cosplay Walk competition, Community group photo, and drawing classes for children. The second edition in 2026 follows on September 19.
With the premiere in 2025, BD-Events filled a gap in the event offerings for the pop culture scene on the right bank of the Rhine: Cologne, one of Germany's largest cities, had not had its own comic and manga convention of this format until then. The first edition attracted cosplayers, artists, and visitors from all over the Rhineland.
Programme
First edition featuring Artist Alley, Merchandise Market, Cosplay Walk competition, Community group photo, and children's drawing classes — the format will be continued and expanded in 2026.
