Classic Open Air 2025

In 2025, the Classic Open Air of the Kieler Woche was themed "Classic meets Hip-Hop". The headliner was the Hamburg hip-hop formation Fünf Sterne Deluxe, who met the Kiel Philharmonic Orchestra with their hits from the nineties and two-thousands. The concert followed a long tradition of crossover encounters – after Conchita Wurst (2022) and Stefanie Heinzmann (2024).

As always, admission was free, the Rathausplatz in the center of Kiel was full, and the audience experienced a warm summer night by the fjord. In 2026, the next edition will follow with Gentleman and "Classic meets Reggae" on June 26th.
