Overview

The 2025 cinefest took place in November at the Metropolis Kino, once again bringing together film heritage, restorations, and a scholarly accompanying colloquium. CineGraph presented selected classics and forgotten films of German-language and European cinema, accompanied by guests from international film archives.

The 2025 edition again delved into a historical theme, combined silent works with live musical accompaniment, and showed restored sound films. The traditional CineGraph colloquium accompanied the festival, gathering film historians and curators from several European countries. The Metropolis Kino remained the central venue.

As in previous years, single tickets started from €6 reduced; the program was scheduled for ten days.
