Overview
The 3rd edition of the festival took place in 2025 with international instructors, solidifying the reputation of the Wuppertal CI Festival as a meeting point for the European scene. The combination of Contact Improvisation and Tango Argentino remains the hallmark of the series.
In 2025, as in 2026, the focus was on Café Ada — a venue that carries special symbolic weight due to its history (Pina Bausch, Tango). The festival week consistently combined workshops, jams, and milongas into a dense program.
