In 2025, three Advent weekends once again transformed Leuchtenburg Castle into one of Thuringia's most atmospheric castle Christmas markets. Thousands of visitors flocked to the hilltop castle above Kahla to discover porcelain, crafts, and Thuringian specialties, experience the Bridge of Wishes, and admire the festively illuminated walls in the Saale Valley.
The 2025 season continued the tradition of the Christmas Market of Wishes. On the Advent weekends, artisans and craftspeople offered their wares in the castle courtyards and halls. Families with children enjoyed the pony rides and shadow theatre, while adults discovered porcelain, mulled wine, and gingerbread. The Bridge of Wishes remained the emotional heart of the market, cementing Leuchtenburg Castle's reputation as a magical Advent destination in the Saale Valley.
