Overview

The 42nd edition of the Christmas Market at the Schleswig City Museum took place in 2025, as usual, on the first Advent weekend in the Günderothschen Hof. Artisans and Advent caterers gathered for three days of pre-Christmas programming — ceramics, jewelry, textiles, wooden objects, and Advent arrangements characterized the offerings, while mulled wine and Café Friedrich rounded off the weekend.

Review 2025

The 2025 Christmas Market at the Schleswig City Museum once again confirmed its reputation as a high-quality Advent market with tradition. Over 40 exhibitors presented their arts and crafts in the historic Günderothschen Hof, Café Friedrich served the classic homemade cakes, and in the courtyard, mulled wine stands, grilled food, and vegetarian/vegan options provided refreshments.

As always, the organizer was the association for the promotion of the Schleswig City Museum (Verein zur Förderung des Stadtmuseums Schleswig e.V.). The 2025 edition laid the groundwork for the 43rd edition in 2026.
