Overview
The Recklinghausen Christmas Market 2025, as every year, attracted thousands of visitors to the three locations in the old town. The canopy of lights at Altstadtmarkt, the umbrella bar at Kirchplatz, and the Advent programme at Palais Vest made the city one of the Advent destinations in the northern Ruhr area.
The 2025 edition continued the tradition of multiple locations. With its opening at the end of November until just before Christmas, the market was a firm fixture in the Advent calendars of many families from the Vest Recklinghausen region.
