Christmas Market Rathausmarkt (Roncalli)
2025
Edition 2025 — Finished
Edition 2025 — Christmas Market Rathausmarkt
The 2025 edition confirmed the established Roncalli programming. The flying Santa Claus was again the most photographed element of the Hamburg Advent season, and the Christmas parade on Mönckebergstraße attracted thousands of spectators each time.
In Hamburg's 2025 festival calendar, the Rathausmarkt Christmas Market is the state of Hamburg's tourist and identity-defining Advent market format. In the Hamburg-Mitte district, it forms the center of a market concert with surrounding locations on Jungfernstieg and Spitalerstraße. The commitment to sustainability has been consistently sharpened in recent years and is now part of the market's brand core.
