The 2025 Fleet Island Christmas Market ran from November 20 to December 23 with the typical maritime setting at Heiligengeistbrücke. Advent light was reflected in the Fleeten in the evenings — one of the special atmospheric scenes of Hamburg's Advent season between the Alster and the Elbe.

2025 Review

The 2025 edition opened as scheduled on November 20 and closed on December 23. The market was closed on Totensonntag (November 23). The generously covered stall areas made visiting comfortable even in pouring North German weather — a pragmatic concession that turns many Hamburg residents into regulars.

In the Hamburg-Mitte district, the Fleet Island market is one of the Hanseatic city's three central Advent locations — along with Spitalerstraße and Rathausmarkt. Its own character: more intimate, more maritime, less overrun by tourists.
