In 2025, the 'Großer Stodl' at Gutshof Poppenreuth once again opened its doors for the SVP's Advent market. Over a November weekend, the barn transformed into a warm meeting place with crafts, mulled wine, and traditional costumes — a cozy alternative to the larger markets in the Fichtelgebirge.
2025 Review
As in previous years, the 'Weihnachtszauber im Stodl' took place on a November weekend in 2025. The venue was once again the historic barn at Gutshof Poppenreuth in the Waldershof district. The Schwarzwälder Volkstrachtengruppe Poppenreuth welcomed visitors with craft stalls, regional specialties, mulled wine and punch, as well as performances by their own folk costume and dance group.
The event is a staple in the northern Tirschenreuth district for anyone who appreciates a quiet, tradition-bound Advent market away from the major tourist markets.
