Overview
The Christmas City Marburg 2025 ran as usual with two parallel Advent markets at the Elisabethkirche and in front of the historic Rathaus. The Advent season was opened with 'Marburg by Night' – a city-wide light spectacle on a Friday in late November.
The 2025 Advent season, as in previous years, was opened with 'Marburg by Night'. Four weeks of Advent atmosphere in the university city – with two markets of different characters.
Programme
Opening with 'Marburg by Night' on the last Friday in November, followed by four weeks of Advent markets at the Elisabethkirche and in front of the historic Rathaus. Arts and crafts, regional specialties, and stage program.
