Christmas at the Zoo Berlin

The 2025/2026 edition stuck to the proven concept, with new light installations along the illuminated path. The ice rink at the bear enclosure ran reliably, and queues at the entrance during peak times were as expected – online advance booking was again the most important recommendation in 2025.

The Christmas at the Zoo concept has developed since its launch in 2019 into one of the Tierpark's most economically significant winter revenue streams. The format is slightly expanded each year without losing its core idea: a walk through illuminated paths, warming stations with mulled wine, and children's entertainment away from commercial downtown Christmas markets.
