Overview

On November 29 and 30, 2025, the Christkindlmarkt Eichendorf invited visitors for the 1st Advent at the Market Square and Postsaal courtyard. With wooden huts, mulled wine, a visit from St. Nicholas, and the traditional performance by the primary school, it marked the start of Advent in Lower Bavaria.

The Christkindlmarkt 2025 in Eichendorf opened on Saturday, November 29, at 4 p.m. and closed on Sunday evening, November 30. The market square was set in an Advent mood with a magnificent Christmas tree and fairy lights, while the courtyard of the Postsaal provided space for the exhibitors' wooden huts.

St. Nicholas visited the market on both days around 5 p.m. and distributed small gifts to the children. On Sunday evening, the 4th-grade classes of Eichendorf Primary School performed under the direction of Christiane Aigner — the musical highlight of the market weekend, which attracts numerous families every year.
