Overview

The Christkindlmarkt Bad Birnbach 2025 took place, as every year, on the first Advent weekend at the Neuer Marktplatz. Three days of Advent market with numerous stalls, festive lighting, culinary delights, and a musical supporting program made the market a atmospheric start to the Advent season in the Lower Bavarian health resort. Spa guests and day-trippers from the region and nearby Austria used the market for gift shopping and cozy get-togethers with mulled wine and sausages.

The 2025 edition confirmed the established tradition of the Bad Birnbach Christkindlmarkt. The Neuer Marktplatz presented itself in festive splendor with wooden stalls, a Christmas tree, and atmospheric lighting. Stall operators from the region offered their assortments, from arts and crafts and nativity figures to culinary specialties.

The musical supporting program with brass choirs, school choirs, and singing groups created the calm, contemplative Advent atmosphere for which the market is known. In conjunction with the thermal spa stay and the spa park experience, the Christkindlmarkt Bad Birnbach remains an attractive program point in the Lower Bavarian Advent calendar.
