Overview

The 2nd edition of the CHEATDAY Streetfood Festival took place in May 2025 at the Sondern Lakeside Promenade on the Biggesee. Around a dozen food trucks, four festival days over the Pentecost weekend, free admission. The city of Olpe confirmed at the end of the festival the continuation in 2026 for the 3rd edition.

CHEATDAY 2025 at Biggesee

The 2nd edition of the CHEATDAY Streetfood Festival 2025 confirmed the successful concept of the 2024 premiere. Pentecost weekend, Sondern Lakeside Promenade, around a dozen food trucks from the Sauerland region and beyond, four festival days of street food by the lake.

The city of Olpe, as the organizer, drew a positive conclusion and confirmed the continuation in 2026 for the 3rd edition as early as autumn 2025. Local media such as Lokalplus.nrw promoted the festival in advance with gourmet voucher promotions, which further increased the format's popularity.
