Overview

The 23rd edition of the CentrO Family Festival took place on the first Sunday of October 2025 in Neue Mitte Oberhausen — live music on multiple stages, walking acts, numerous hands-on activities for families, and the traditional Sunday shopping from 1 PM to 6 PM in the Centro shops. A classic autumn family event for the region, supported by Stadtmarketing Neue Mitte and Westfield Centro with participation from Centro tenants.

23rd Family Festival in Neue Mitte

In 2025, the 23rd CentrO Family Festival once again drew thousands of families from the western Ruhr area to Westfield Centro. The proven format: live music, walking acts, activity zones, and concurrent Sunday shopping. Free entry to the entire festival program.

As in previous years, numerous Centro tenants participated with their own activities in the family festival program — from children's activities to free goodies and special offers on the occasion of Sunday shopping. The walking acts and live music stages along the promenade turned the area into a continuous family stage from morning to evening.
