Overview

In 2025, the Castle and Craftsmen Market was traditionally held on October 3rd in the Museumsdorf Altwindeck. Historical artisans, jugglers, and medieval music characterized the program — the proven family day on German Unity Day in the Rhein-Sieg district.

The 2025 edition continued the successful concept: craft demonstrations, juggler performances, medieval music, and hands-on activities for children. Admission €5 per adult, children under 14 free, free shuttle from Schladern station. The Museumsdorf Altwindeck once again presented itself as the most prominent medieval stage in southern North Rhine-Westphalia.

Programme

Market day from 11 AM to 6 PM with craft demonstrations, juggler shows, medieval music on stage, and hands-on activities for children. €5 admission, children under 14 free.
