Edition 2025 — City Festival Schleusingen
The 32nd Castle and City Festival Schleusingen took place from June 20 to 22, 2025. Three days of programming included an opening concert, a 90s/2000s retro party, the Abitaufe ceremony for the grammar school, a children's festival with the WDR Mouse, a traditional dumpling meal ('Klöße-Essen'), and a parade of clubs through the town center. Free admission.

From June 20 to 22, 2025, Schleusingen once again transformed into a festival mile around the market square and Bertholdsburg Castle.
2025 Schedule
Friday, June 20: Opening concert with school choirs, traditional keg tapping ceremony, big 90s/2000s retro party, and live music late into the night.
Saturday, June 21: Traditional Abitaufe ceremony for the Schleusingen grammar school graduates, school festival with activities, children's festival with the WDR Mouse, bouncy castles, live concerts on the main stage in the evening.
Sunday, June 22: Church service, traditional dumpling meal ('Klöße-Essen') by the clubs, large parade through the town center with clubs, schools, and traditional groups, closing program.
