Overview

Castellum ad Louffi 2025 took place from June 27 to 29, 2025, on the Salzach meadow under the Länderbrücke. Three days with camp groups, medieval market, concerts on two stages, combat reenactments, and a children's program. Due to unexpectedly high demand, a registration freeze for exhibitors had to be imposed this year as well.

The Medieval Festival Castellum ad Louffi 2025 was held from June 27 to 29, 2025, on the Salzach meadow in Laufen. This edition already attracted so many applications from camp groups, artists, and traders that the organization team had to impose a registration freeze — a sign of how quickly the festival has gained a foothold in the southern German medieval scene.

The Salzach meadow beneath the Länderbrücke was transformed into a medieval world for three days with camp group tents, craft demonstrations, a rich medieval market, two stages with concerts and spectacular shows, and a dedicated children's program.

Several thousand visitors from Bavaria, Austria, and the wider region attended over the weekend — the festival setting with the historic bridge and the old town of Laufen, as well as neighboring Oberndorf bei Salzburg, forms one of the most beautiful medieval festival venues in Southern Germany.
