California Summer Opening Sylt

The California Summer Opening 2025 continued the tradition as the season opener for the Sylt water sports scene. Wind and wing surf professionals as well as ambitious hobby athletes competed over several days at the competition arena on Brandenburger Strand. In parallel, the Westerland promenade transformed into a festival mile with shopping stalls, catering, and DJ sets. Choppy Water GmbH once again hosted the official opening of the season, which culminates in the summer with the California Surf Cup and continues with further competitions in September.
