Edition 2025 — Burgspektakel Wassenberg
The Burgspektakel Wassenberg 2025 took place from May 9th to 11th. Three days of medieval market around Wassenberg Castle with a jousting tournament, medieval music, falconry, and over 60 market stalls. Saturday evening featured a fire performance. Thousands of visitors from Heinsberg, Aachen, Mönchengladbach, and neighboring Limburg.
The 2025 edition confirmed the Burgspektakel as a regular event in the Lower Rhine's medieval calendar. The Saturday evening, in particular, attracted many visitors from the tri-border area of Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium with its fire performance.

Identical program structure as planned for 2026. Market stalls, jousting tournament several times daily, medieval music on two stages, fire performance on Saturday evening.
