Overview
Already in 2024 (1st edition) and 2025 (2nd edition), the Vilseck City Theatre presented historical plays with a Vilseck connection in the courtyard of Dagestein Castle — written by Gerda Stauner and directed by Bernhard Neumann. The Castle Festival quickly established itself as a cultural summer highlight in the Amberg-Sulzbach district.
In 2025, too, several performances were held in the castle courtyard, to which the 3rd edition in 2026 with the EILLES play builds upon.
