Burgfestspiele Neunburg vorm Wald — Vom Hussenkrieg 2026

In 2025, Vom Hussenkrieg was performed on several July evenings in the castle courtyard of Neunburg vorm Wald, as in previous years. The play stages the Hussite Wars as a grand amateur production with many participants, elaborate costumes, and a historic backdrop.

Admission was in the early evening each day, with the performance starting after dusk. The Schwarzachtal Local History Museum and a Hussite exhibition were also open at the castle. The open-air theatre has a long tradition in Neunburg and attracts a large audience from the region every year.
