The Burgfest Hilpoltstein 2025 took place from August 1 to 4, 2025. As every year, the historical procession in honour of Countess Palatine Dorothea Maria was the central event, accompanied by a pageant, the castle play in the castle ruins, a flea market, a tub race, and a Volksfest atmosphere in the beer tent.
In 2025, the Burgfest Hilpoltstein once again attracted numerous visitors to the old town in the Roth district. On the festival Sunday, the entire town donned historical costumes and celebrated the entry of Countess Palatine Dorothea Maria with the traditional pageant and the grand procession. The castle play in the castle ruins, the flea market with around 40 stalls, the tub race, and the Burgfest run were also part of the programme, as were the beer tent and the amusement park. The Burgfest once again confirmed its reputation as one of Middle Franconia's most atmospheric historical Volksfeste.
