Overview
In 2025, the Burgfest Hilpoltstein once again attracted numerous visitors to the old town in the Roth district. On the festival Sunday, the entire town donned historical costumes and celebrated the entry of Countess Palatine Dorothea Maria with the traditional pageant and the grand procession. The castle play in the castle ruins, the flea market with around 40 stalls, the tub race, and the Burgfest run were also part of the programme, as were the beer tent and the amusement park. The Burgfest once again confirmed its reputation as one of Middle Franconia's most atmospheric historical Volksfeste.
