Overview

The 2025 Burg-Weihnacht transformed Neustadt-Glewe Castle into a historical Christmas market on the 2nd Advent weekend. In the castle courtyard, on the castle forecourt, and in the castle rooms, stalls with crafts and delicacies lined up. A model railway exhibition, creative workshop, live music, fire shows, and a children's program provided pre-Christmas atmosphere in the over 800-year-old castle.

In 2025, the Burg-Weihnacht once again invited visitors to Neustadt-Glewe Castle on the 2nd Advent weekend. The historical Christmas market extended across the castle courtyard, the castle forecourt, and the interior rooms of the castle.

Historical market stalls offered handmade gifts and culinary specialties. The model railway exhibition, the creative workshop, the stage program, as well as fire shows and a children's Christmas program were among the attractions. With mulled wine, roasted almonds, and Mutzen, visitors experienced the Advent season in the historic setting of Mecklenburg's oldest preserved fortified castle.
