In 2025, Burg Open Air Querfurt was prepared and announced; the first official festival edition is planned for 2026. Project Pitchfork and the castle team presented the concept and lineup throughout the year.
The idea for Burg Open Air Querfurt was conceptualized and publicly announced in 2025. Peter Spilles, frontman of Project Pitchfork, communicated the concept of a curated one-day open-air event in the courtyard of Querfurt Castle. The premiere is scheduled for July 11, 2026; no festival took place at the location in 2025.
