The 20th Bundesbegegnung Jugend jazzt took place from May 9 to 12, 2024, in Karlsruhe. The city of Halle will host the 21st anniversary edition in 2026.

Karlsruhe hosted the 20th Bundesbegegnung in 2024. The edition brought together around 350 young musicians from all 16 federal states. Evaluation performances, concerts, and workshops were spread across several venues.
