Edition 2025 — New Year's Dive
In 2025, hundreds of daredevils gathered again in early January on Büsum beach for the traditional New Year's Dive. As every year, the focus was on the shared experience — the jump into the cold North Sea — followed by sauna and hot drinks at the Meerzeit wave pool. Organizers: Tourismus Marketing Service Büsum and Meerzeit Büsum.
The 2025 edition followed the proven format: registration at 11:30 AM at Meerzeit, warm-up program on the beach, joint jump around 12:30 PM. Families, clubs, regular guests — and some first-time divers — gathered on the beach.
As in previous years, DLRG lifeguards were on site. The wave pool & spa welcomed the divers afterwards with discounted entry for sauna and showers.
