Overview

The Bürgerwehr-Sommerfest with Tag der Heimat 2025 took place on the third-to-last weekend in July at the Kanzleiplatz in Zell am Harmersbach. As usual, Saturday evening featured the entry of the Bürgerwehr in uniform, dancing until late. Sunday was Tag der Heimat with a ceremony and Frühschoppen. A traditional Black Forest Heimatfest in its classic form.

Bürgerwehr-Sommerfest 2025

The Bürgerwehr-Sommerfest Zell am Harmersbach 2025 continued the decades-long tradition. On Saturday evening, the Freiwillige Bürgerwehr marched in historical uniform with the music band to the Kanzleiplatz, opened the festival there, and provided catering. A dance band took over for the late evening until 1 AM.

Sunday was dedicated to the Tag der Heimat: ceremony at 10:30 AM, followed by Frühschoppen with the music band and catering with Black Forest specialties. A classic Black Forest Heimatfest that keeps the Free Imperial City tradition of Zell alive while also serving as the annual club meeting for Bürgerwehr members.
