Overview

The 76th edition of the Bühler Zwetschgenfest took place from September 11 to 15, 2025, in the center of Bühl. Over 195,000 visitors attended the five days of the festival, and the grand parade on Sunday marched through the city center with Queen Lisa and 50 floats. The festival tent, wine village, and amusement park were well-attended throughout, with mostly warm late summer weather.

The Bühler Zwetschgenfest 2025 took place in warm late summer weather. It opened on Thursday afternoon with the traditional keg tapping ceremony by the mayor, after which the crowd flocked to the festival mile. The largest amusement park on the Upper Rhine between Basel and Karlsruhe was in full operation on all five days, and the festival tent with live bands and cover acts was full until midnight.

The highlight on Sunday, September 14, 2025, was the grand parade with the reigning Plum Queen and over 50 floats, traditional costume groups, and music clubs. Thousands lined the route along Bahnhofstraße. The wine village in the Stadtgarten — hosted by around 20 vintners from Markgräflerland and Ortenau — was, as always, one of the most popular meeting points of the festival.
