Overview

The BSV Harsewinkel Schützenfest 2025 traditionally took place on the first weekend of July and proclaimed the King and Queen who will pass on the insignia in 2026. The ceremony, parade, and King's Shoot once again confirmed the firm place of the BSV from 1845 in the event calendar of the town of Harsewinkel.

The 2025 edition confirmed the proven four-day format of the BSV Harsewinkel: Friday with an ecumenical church service and ceremony at the Heimathof, Saturday with a commemoration ceremony, junior marksmen's competition, and public ball, Sunday with a wake-up call by the brass band, a grand parade through the city center, and a family day, Monday with the King's Shoot and a closing ball as the highlight. The individual companies — from IV. to V. — presented themselves in full uniform, friendly associations from the Gütersloh district as well as brass bands and drum corps provided the musical supporting program. The King and Queen proclaimed in 2025 will hand over the royal dignity to their successors on Monday, July 6, 2026.
