Brunnenfest 2025 Cancelled

The traditional Brunnenfest on the Viktualienmarkt was scheduled for 2025 on the first Friday in August (August 1, 2025). Due to unfavorable weather forecasts, the event was cancelled at short notice – as has happened with previous bad weather occurrences. The Brunnenfest is purely an open-air event and therefore weather-dependent. The Munich folk art tradition with folk singers, folk actors, cabaret artists, and traditional costume groups at the three fountain figures will return on August 7, 2026. The organizer is the City of Munich (Märkte München).
