Overview
In 2025, the Brunnenfest once again transformed the upper village pond in Heberndorf into a festival ground. Three days of events, including beer tapping, street skittles, kilo wood sawing, and a dance evening, confirmed the festival's status as the most important summer event for this small district of Wurzbach.
The 2025 edition continued the tradition maintained since 1991. The Heberndorf volunteer fire brigade organized the weekend program in collaboration with the village community. Street skittles and kilo wood sawing remained the most popular participatory activities, and the dance floor was full on Saturday evening. Sunday morning saw the traditional Frühshoppen with brass music — Heberndorf keeps the tradition of its village festivals in the southern Saale-Orla district alive.
