Overview

The 11th Brötzinger Frühlingsfest took place in 2025 in the usual five-day format in Pforzheim's pedestrian zone and on the squares of Brötzingen. Showmen with Wellenflug, Musikexpress, and other rides, food stalls, Schlager Sunday, and a Sunday with open shops characterized the festival weekend. Around 28,000 visitors attended the festival.

Established Tradition

Since its first edition, the Brötzinger Frühlingsfest has established itself as a fixture on Pforzheim's event calendar. Organizer Jörg Augenstein has refined the format over the years to give it a noticeable position among the spring festivals in southern Germany — showmen can incorporate the Brötzingen festival into a tour with Karlsruhe-Durlach, Bietigheim-Bissingen, and other spring markets, which maintains the quality of participating businesses.

In 2025, the festival again attracted around 28,000 visitors to the Pforzheim district of Brötzingen. The Schlager concert on Sunday, the barrel tapping by the mayor on Thursday, the amusement park program with Wellenflug and Musikexpress — all elements were used effectively. In 2026, this tradition continues, and with Vincent Gross, the musical profile is further enhanced.
