Already in 2025, Britnic, in its 14th edition, attracted hundreds of Anglophile guests to the meadow behind the Westfälische Schule für Musik in Münster. With Pipes & Drums, Caber Toss, Welly Wanging, Tweed Ride, and the Alien Riders Choir, the picnic offered the usual mix of Highland games, British music, and eccentric staging — free, family-friendly, and lovingly organised by the German-British Society Münster/Münsterland e.V. The success paved the way for the 15th anniversary edition in 2026.

The 14th edition of Britnic in July 2025 confirmed the concept of the British-inspired cultural picnic in Münster. In summer weather, the meadow behind the Westfälische Schule für Musik once again transformed into a Little Britain enclave with bagpipe sounds, log throwing, tweed cyclists, and a cheerful audience of all ages. The event remained free and without catering — bring your own picnic — and laid the foundation for the 15th anniversary edition in 2026.
