The 2025 season opening took place on April 19/20. The car show on Saturday brought together local and regional car dealers, while the Hollandmarkt on Sunday offered over 30 stalls with Dutch specialties — fish, cheese, Poffertjes — and a typical Dutch marching band for musical accompaniment.

The highlight was the presentation of the 18th Brilon Forest Fairy at 3 p.m. on the town hall steps — a tradition that connects Brilon's forestry heritage with the annual city festival. The Sunday shopping rounded off the weekend. Organizer Prima Brilon e.V. confirmed with the 2025 edition the position of the season opening as a fixture in Brilon's festival calendar.
