Edition 2025 — Matjes Days Bremerhaven
From July 11 to 13, 2025, the Bremerhaven Matjes Days & Harbour Spectacle attracted around 50,000 visitors to the Schaufenster Fischereihafen. Highlights included a 33-meter long Matjes snack, fresh Nieuwe Haring from the Dutch Matjes cart, the US car meet Fish & Cars with over 150 American classics, as well as music, arts and crafts, and a children's programme. Admission was free.
The 2025 edition, from July 11 to 13, drew around 50,000 guests to Bremerhaven's fishing harbour. Highlights included the 33-meter long Matjes snack, hand-filleted Nieuwe Haring, and the US car meet Fish & Cars with over 150 gleaming American classic cars lining the harbour basin. This was complemented by live music, arts and crafts, and a beach atmosphere with loungers by the water – all with free admission.
