Overview

The 52nd edition of the Breisgauer Weinfest took place in mid-August 2025 in the old town of Emmendingen. 16 wineries and wine cooperatives served over 200 wines and sparkling wines from the Breisgau wine region on three stages, the crowning of the Breisgau Wine Princess on the opening day and the fireworks display at the festival's closing marked the four-day wine festival. One of the most important Baden wine festivals with visitors from Southern Baden, Switzerland, and Alsace.

2025 — Wine Festival in Emmendingen

In 2025, the Breisgauer Weinfest once again transformed Emmendingen's old town into the premier stage for wine enjoyment in Southern Baden for four days. 16 wineries and wine cooperatives presented their range of varieties — Spätburgunder, Müller-Thurgau, Grauburgunder, Weißburgunder, Riesling, Gutedel, and others — on three stages (Schlossplatz, Landvogtei, Stadtkirche area). The crowning of the Wine Princess on the opening day and the fireworks display at the festival's closing were the program anchors. Live music in various styles accompanied the evenings. A perfectly coordinated wine festival machine that has been running for 52 years.
