Review of the Bredstedter Christmas Market 2025

The 2025 edition of the Bredstedter Christmas Market continued the tradition: four weeks of market operation around the Schweinebrunnen in the market square, from the end of November until December 23rd. The HGV Bredstedt, together with the BTSV, the fire brigade, and the Spielmannszug, once again managed the event — bratwurst, mulled wine, draught beer, and festive lighting along the market square and Osterstraße.

As every year, the Spielmannszug marched through the town center to open the market — a ceremonial start that for many Bredstedt residents marked the emotional beginning of the Advent season. The festival evening on December 23rd once again brought families together, who enjoyed their last mulled wine before Christmas Eve.
