Sprint Triathlon at Salzgittersee

With its calm waters, established competition infrastructure in the Reppnersche Bucht, and direct access to well-developed cycling routes in the northern Harz foothills, the Salzgittersee offers ideal conditions for a sprint triathlon. The courses are challenging but equally suitable for ambitious hobby athletes and league competitors. The event has been organized for years by the Triathlon department of SV Glück Auf 1901 Gebhardshagen e.V. and has become a firm fixture in the Lower Saxony triathlon calendar.

League Competitions TOL and TML

The BraWo Triathlon is the venue for two important league competitions: the Lower Saxony Triathlon League (TOL) and the Triathlon Mixed League (TML). This means teams from all over Lower Saxony compete against each other at Salzgittersee. The elite men's start is scheduled for 11:15 AM, followed by other classification races. Hobby athletes and introductory participants also have the opportunity to take on the challenge in their own start categories.

The Course

• Swim: 750 meters in Salzgittersee, starting in the Reppnersche Bucht
• Bike: 25 kilometers on a circuit through the northern Harz foothills
• Run: 5.4 kilometers along the promenade of Salzgittersee

Registration and Fees

Registration is via the organizer's official website. The early bird fee is 42 Euros for registrations by March 31st, and 49 Euros for registrations by July 31st. Late registrations are possible with limitations.
