Overview
The 17th edition of the Braugassentheater attracted thousands of visitors to Hoyerswerda's old town in 2025. At several venues between Braugasse and the market square, international companies presented acrobatics, clowning, music, and performances — as always with free admission and donations as the sole contribution from the audience.

In 2025, the International Street Theatre Festival was once again one of the highlights of Hoyerswerda's summer of culture. Organized by the City of Hoyerswerda and Kulturfabrik Hoyerswerda e. V. (Kufa), the festival filled a summer Sunday with street art from all over Europe. The tradition since 2009 — acrobatics, clowning, music — continued with new companies; several parallel venues and walking acts between stages characterized the day.
