Overview
The Brakel City Festival 2025 once again brought together the city center stage program and the Spring Fair at Feuerteich for the entire region. From the mayor's keg tapping to the children's program and the health mile to the Sunday shopping, the festival offered its usual program — and confirmed itself as the most important city event of the Hanseatic city in the Höxter district in spring.
The 2025 edition continued the long-standing tradition, filling Brakel's city center for a weekend with music, showman stalls, children's activities, and gatherings of local clubs. The main sponsor was Verbundvolksbank OWL eG, supplemented by local companies. The mix of a classic city festival with a public program and the Spring Fair at Feuerteich made the weekend a reliable season opener in Brakel.
