Overview
The 33rd Lübeck Brahms Festival took place in May 2025 with the established format of 30 concerts over nine days. As in previous years, the program included symphony concerts, organ mornings at St. Jakobi, lunchtime concerts, and the «Brahms Night Lounge». The main venue was the Great Hall of the Lübeck University of Music.
The 2025 festival once again confirmed its high audience interest and reach beyond the Hanseatic city. Students and faculty of the Lübeck University of Music presented the program together with guest artists. Preparations for the 34th festival in 2026, themed «Freedom!», began immediately afterward.
