Borkuschter Kerwa – Kirchweih Burgkunstadt

The Burgkunstadt Kirchweih 2025 took place, as is tradition, on the second weekend of September. The solemn start was marked by the Saturday evening mass, followed by the festival activities in the parish courtyard with Franconian music and Leikeim beer.

On Sunday, the festive service and the Kirchweih procession through the old town were the main focus. The Burgkunstadt town band provided the musical accompaniment for the procession and the subsequent "Frühschoppen" (morning pint). Throughout the day, the local associations served their specialties at the festival stalls.
