Edition 2025 — Bonifatiusfest

The 2025 Bonifatiusfest took place on Whit Monday, June 9th, under the motto 'Pilgrims on the Road in Hope' – in line with the Holy Year 2025. Around 6,000 people gathered in glorious weather for the Pontifical Mass on Cathedral Square. In his sermon, Bishop Gerber called for a new beginning and community on the journey.

The 2025 Bonifatiusfest was thematically focused on the Holy Year. Bishop Dr. Michael Gerber celebrated the Pontifical Mass and delivered the festive sermon; as usual, the star pilgrimages from across the diocese brought thousands to Cathedral Square. A family day and the special exhibition 'All Roads Lead to Rome' concluded the day.
