Overview

The BNZ Summerjeck Festival 2025 already offered a strong preview of 2026: carnival stars from the Rhineland performed at Bedburg Castle Park Square, the audience celebrated a warm summer evening with Kölsche music and Rhenish joie de vivre. The Bedburger Narrenzunft established the event as a summer highlight in the Erftkreis.

As early as 2025, the Bedburger Narrenzunft gathered thousands of carnival fans at the Schlossparkplatz. Well-known acts from the Kölsche scene created a jubilant atmosphere — carnival in the summer is no longer a contradiction in the Rhineland.

The event has proven to be a reliable attraction for carnival fans from Bedburg, Cologne, Bergheim, and the entire Rhein-Erft district. The combination of Rhenish music, summer atmosphere, and castle backdrop is what makes the Summerjeck unique.
