Overview
The premiere of Bites & Bikes Berlin took place in May 2025 at Jules B-Part at Gleisdreieck. Cargo bikes as mobile kitchens completely replaced food trucks — a unique festival formula in Germany. Around 8,000 visitors came over the weekend, and the format established itself as a sustainable alternative to the conventional Berlin street food scene. Successful combination of street food, sustainable mobility, music, market, and family program.
The first edition in 2025 confirmed the unusual concept: cargo bikes as the sole street food platform, complemented by workshops on sustainable mobility, live music, and a family program. Around 8,000 visitors came to Jules B-Part at Gleisdreieck — a result that made the 2nd edition in 2026 possible and established the format as a reliable fixture in the Berlin street food season.
