The 2025 Birkenfest took place on June 13 and 14 under the motto 'Birkenfest Meets Fire Brigade' — a double anniversary for the Birkenwerder Volunteer Fire Brigade. Fire brigade demonstrations, open-air cinema, beach volleyball, and live music characterized the family festival.

The 2025 edition was themed 'Birkenfest Meets Fire Brigade' — the double anniversary of the Birkenwerder Volunteer Fire Brigade provided the thematic framework. Fire brigade demonstrations, the traditional open-air cinema, and the sports and music program attracted hundreds of visitors again. In 2026, the motto shifts to the 60th anniversary of the town friendship with Villetaneuse.
