Edition 2025 — Bike'n'BBQ
Bike'n'BBQ 2025 took place on the first May weekend in Erkelenz city centre, combining the usual bicycle fair, grilling artistry, and live music in a car-free pedestrian zone. Sunday shopping, cover bands, and a DJ set by the 1LIVE Sektor Bus characterised the weekend. Organised by Stadtmarketing Erkelenz.
Bike'n'BBQ 2025
In 2025, Bike'n'BBQ once again marked the spring opening of the Erkelenz event calendar. With stalls for cycling and outdoor activities, grill stations, and live music, the city centre opened its doors for the season. The 1LIVE Sektor Bus was again a programme highlight.
Shops participated in the Sunday shopping event, and the ADFC organised a guided bicycle tour through the Rhineland region — a format that the city marketing department considers indispensable in Erkelenz's event calendar.
