Overview

The 2025 Biikebrennen in Dagebüll took place as every year on St. Peter's Eve (February 21st): torchlight procession from the Tourist Information to the beach parking lot at the bathing dike, lighting of the Biike fire around 6 PM, gathering with warm drinks. Afterwards, kale dinner in the local restaurants. The Frisian UNESCO tradition was celebrated together by locals and tourists.

2025 Edition

The 2025 Biikebrennen in Dagebüll proceeded in the classic format — well-attended, with a clearly noticeable community participation, mild February temperatures, and many holidaymakers spending the winter on the North Sea coast. The restaurants were fully booked for the traditional kale dinner.

5:45 PM Meeting point Tourist Information, torchlight procession to the bathing dike, approx. 6:00 PM lighting of the Biike fire, afterwards kale dinner in the restaurants.
